MISSION

The Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology is dedicated to the training of professionals, to work in the public and / or private food sector in the areas of production, business management, quality assurance, research and teaching, cultivating values ethical and professional.

It develops scientific-technological research, engineering, innovation and transfer, in order to increase productivity, the generation of companies and the quality of life of society.

Contributes to strengthening the relationship between the university and the various interest groups.

VISIÓN

The AAUCA accredits superior levels of quality in the training of Food Industry Engineers, highlighting their competitiveness and corporate values in science, technology, engineering, research, innovation, design and generation of agroindustrial, livestock and hydrobiological companies to thus contribute to the development of our region and the country and interacting internationally.

PROFESSIONAL EXITS IN AGROINDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING

The graduate of the Agroindustrial Engineering career may perform functions in private companies, public institutions, and other organizations carrying out technical activities of management, direction, planning, execution and evaluation and control.
Provide advisory and consultancy services in activities related to the production, conservation and development of the national agri-food sector, seeking the sustainable use of matter and energy and the closure of value chains.
Perform in undergraduate and graduate university teaching according to their level of specialization and competence.

PROFILE OF THE GRADUATE OF THE AGROINDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING CAREER

The Agroindustrial Engineering Career trains professionals with skills to:

Create, develop and direct the different agri-food production processes that involve the sustainable use of matter and energy, allowing the closure of value chains and therefore their sustainability.
Act in the areas of production, control and operation of equipment and machinery.
