Preparatory course training people preparing to find their place in a new reality
In AAUCA We have one year of preparation before starting the academic degree. In this way we ensure a solid foundation in the education of students and are provided with the tools to use languages, mathematics, the social and natural sciences.
In the preparatory study program we have a language center and a library to reaffirm the knowledge generated for the learning processes.
The knowledge acquired during this year of preparation will allow students to adapt to study methods, to the levels of demand and to develop skills that will improve their performance and understanding in the following student stages.
It is a period that links secondary and university education, training the applicant in the linguistic, cognitive, methodological and attitudinal domains to face university studies with solvency.
You can reaffirm your command of English by studying from the first year in the bilingual classroom, where you will take several of your subjects in this language. In addition, in the second year, apart from taking your full specialty classes, you will continue to take complementary classes in English.
In your high school year, you will have the opportunity to choose one of four areas of specialization: Exact Sciences and Technology, Finance and Administration, Humanities and Education, or Health Sciences. With this you will reaffirm your tastes and skills in the area of your interest or you will discover some new ones, which can help you make the best decision for your career.
As part of a more complete education, this school offers you the opportunity to enter and develop in other areas that you can only achieve by sharing with people from another culture, that is, an intercultural AAUCA experience.
